NHS VOUCHERS - Help Towards The Cost Of Specs

 

The management of funding from one primary care provider to another varies greatly and over the last twelve months we have experienced great difficulty in recouping our costs when providing spectacles via our online spectacle shop.

In some cases the primary care trusts have simply refused to make payment for some glasses we have supplied in good faith.

I'm sorry but due to inconsistencies in support from some primary care trusts Budgetspex is no longer able to accept NHS spectacle vouchers.

However if you are able to call into our premises in Halesowen for spectacles our local PCT is happy to accept vouchers.

If you have not been offered a NHS spectacle voucher and think that you should be entitled to one this is what to do:

You can obtain a form HC1 from your local opticians, or your local DSS office. This form explains the process of applying for financial help towards spectacles and sight examinations.
