- Transition lenses have a very thin layer of photochromic* material bonded onto the front surface of the lens, thus giving an even density when activated.
- There do exist some other photochromic* lenses that change colour throughout the entire thickness of the lens, they are cheaper to make but give a darker tint in thicker areas of the activated lens thus giving a slightly patchy appearance.
- At present we only supply genuine Transitions lenses.
