TRIFOCALS
Trifocals Information Only Are eyeglasses whose corrective lenses each contain regions with three distinct optical powers. Trifocals are most commonly prescribed to people with presbyopia who also require a correction for myopia, hypermetropia, and/or astigmatism. Today most Trifocals are created by molding or fusing a reading and intermediate segment into a primary lens and are available with the reading segments in only a small variety of shapes and sizes. The most popular is the 28 mm flat-top Trifocal. |
